Sister Rutledge is going to teach us about skin care, make-up, and fashion. We are going to have a great time!! Please come with no make-up on. Bring a facial towel, and a friend. 7:00 See you there!

Wednesday Jan. 11th - Joint Activity

This weeks activity is "Mormon Family Feud". We will be breaking into teams and the winning team will win the grand prize. Meet at the church at 7:00.

2012 YW Value Quilts

This year in YWs each young woman will have the opportunity to make a quilt of her own as part of our personal progress program. This is a wonderful project that will involve the mothers and other women in the ward.

Each month the girls will have opportunity to earn quilt squares in the value colors. Squares will be given for attendance at activities, temple trips, girls camp, etc. In addition girls can earn squares for speaking in church or participating in other ways such as cleaning the church, helping with primary and other service. And of course, squares will be given for working on personal progress, or helping others with personal progress if they have already completed their own.

In August/September we will get together with mothers and other women in the ward and put the quilts together. This will be a wonderful opportunity for mothers and daughters to work together and when finished, the girls will have a quilt with a year's worth of memories.
